1. National Weather Service Forecast (for Bend)

2. National Public Radio

I listened to NPR for news for about 30 years, and about 5 years ago I switched to reading it online.   It is more efficient for me.  I enjoy the wide range of news stories, including this one:

I don’t check this every day, but when I need local news and information, this is where I usually go.

Admittedly, none of these sites are very fun, but I just don’t have time for recreational computer use.
